Halo Infinite Partnership With Mondo Teased For Reveal At Comic-Con This Week Mondo, the American art company that makes collectibles, posters, apparel, and more, has teased a collaboration with Microsoft for Halo Infinite. Mondo will make some kind of Halo Infinite announcement on July 24 as part of the virtual San Diego Comic-Con, known as Comic-Con At Home. July 24 is one day after the July 23 Xbox Series X showcase where Microsoft will show more of Halo Infinite's campaign. Mondo has worked with numerous big-name pop culture franchises over the years, and Halo is just the latest. Given that merchandising is a big part of the Halo series, you can expect further partnerships beyond Mondo. LEGO Nintendo NES officially confirmed and it costs more than the actual console Following multiple leaks, LEGO Group has now confirmed the LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) set is indeed the real deal, and it costs more than the console itself. The Nintendo Entertainment System LEGO set comes bundled with controllers, a game cartridge and an old CRT television with Super Mario Bros. playing on the screen. Related: Best Switch games 2020 LEGO has also confirmed there will be whopping 2,646 pieces in the box. The pièce de résistance looks to be the flat 8-bit Mario figure, which can react to on-screen enemies, obstacles and power-ups, just like in the side-scrolling games. The bundled action brick needs to be scanned to get it up and running running, but seeing it in action is nothing short of magic. Lego Nintendo Entertainment System Teased, Leaked

Image
Lego Nintendo Entertainment System Teased, Leaked The Lego Group has confirmed a Lego NES Set coming on August 1. A TV piece has a mechanism that scrolls through a stage, letting you play as Mario "running" through World 1-1 of the original Super Mario Bros. The Lego figure from the Mario Starter Sets can also watch the on-screen action and react. The 2,646-piece set comes with a miniature NES, controller, game cart, and CRT TV--all built with Lego bricks. The TV has a crank that scrolls Mario through a stage, and a miniature 8-bit style Mario can be manipulated to "jump" through the stages. It's all a pretty ingenious little way of nodding to the classic Mario games. The set had leaked before its official unveiling, through fan sites like VJGamer and StoneWars (via Wario64). Shortly after, an official teaser with a silhouetted shape of the Lego set appeared to confirm the leaked photos. The set costs $230 and arrives on August 1 exclusively at the Lego Store. T

"Super Mario has been a cherished figure in the gaming world for over 30 years now," Maarten Simons, the set's creative lead, said in a release. "Many adults still fondly remember that first time they saw Mario leap across the small scr

Netflix's Cursed tries to imitate Game of Thrones, but fails

Image
To Watch Video Click Here Netflix's   Cursed , an R-rated fantasy series reimagining Arthurian legends, has a lot on its plate. A coming-of-age tale following a teenage Nimue, aka the Lady of the Lake, its 10 episodes try to juggle war, a love story, a medieval land-spanning quest and a famous destiny that's ripe to be subverted. Yet after a promising start, it becomes clear that Cursed doesn't have a firm grasp on what kind of show it wants to be, failing to tie all those elements into one connected entity. Torn between young adult drama and R-rated violence, Cursed seems to decide it's best to wander into  Game of Thrones  territory, with political intrigue and a single impressive one-shot battle sequence. The sweeping English valleys are beautiful, and some of the imagery evokes co-creator Frank Miller's comics -- Sin City, 300 and the graphic novel the show is based on. But disappointingly, Cursed's biggest, yep,  curse , comes down to its main character. Th
